Billing Specialist

About the Role  

Join StormGeo as a Billing Specialist, where you'll manage client contracts for streamlined billing via our CRM tool, Salesforce. Your focus includes sending accurate invoices on time in line with contract terms. Collaborate closely with clients and cross-functional teams – sales, client support, and finance – to ensure smooth invoicing. Your role harmonizes with business development, enhancing customer value.  

📍 This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. The Billing team is part of the StormGeo Group Finance organization.  

Main Responsibilities  

• Collaborate with the sales team to record newly won client contract agreements within Salesforce, and prepare all necessary contract information in the system for initiation of billing. 
• Ensure existing contract information remains accurate and up to date for billing over the contract duration – including initiating change orders and renewing or canceling existing contracts in the system when requested by the client and in accordance with the client contract terms. 
• Generate and approve invoices in accordance with the current contract delivery, for both variable and recurring charges, and in accordance with the client's contract terms. 
• Maintain correspondence with and good flow of information between relevant members of the sales team, the client support team, the finance team, and clients regarding billing and contract changes. 
• Respond to requests to correct erroneous invoices generated within Salesforce and NetSuite. 
• Communicate with the customer regarding purchase orders and other documents. 
• Make various and consistent updates to client accounts in Salesforce. 
• Complete Vendor Information forms as required by client.  
• Other ad-hoc billing and finance tasks as necessary. 

 Core Requirements  

• Salesforce experience is essential; familiarity with NetSuite and other CRM or ERP systems is a plus. 
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills, ensuring accuracy in billing and financial processes. 
• A quick learner who adapts easily to new concepts and systems.  
• Structured and service-minded, with a methodical approach to tasks and a commitment to service excellence. 
• Adaptable and able to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Comfortable collaborating across departments, ensuring smooth coordination with various teams. 
• Basic understanding of service contract terms and conditions to support billing operations.
