About the Role 

StormGeo is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer (.NET + Angular) to join our ALMAP (Alfa Laval Marine Platform) team and contribute to the development of high-quality software solutions. You will become part of a solution that optimizes shipping operations. 

Our platform enables real-time monitoring of onboard devices, analyzes fuel consumption, and ensures compliance with international emissions regulations. We aim not only to help ships reduce costs but also to promote greener shipping by optimizing routes and fuel usage.

Main Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET (backend) and Angular (frontend). 
  • Modernize and optimize UIs for scalability, accessibility, and performance. 
  • Build intuitive, user-friendly applications that leverage real-time data and insights. 
  • Contribute to shared frameworks, libraries, and component libraries across teams to improve efficiency and reusability. 
  • Ensure application security by following best practices and implementing secure coding standards. 
  • Collaborate with UX/UI experts and cross-functional teams (designers, product owners, QA, and developers) to create seamless user experiences. 
  • Conduct code reviews to uphold high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability. 
  • Maintain documentation for development processes, system architecture, and codebases. 

Core Requirements 

  • 3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer or strong experience in both .NET backend and Angular frontend development. 
  • Strong proficiency with .NET / ASP.NET. 
  • Professional experience with Angular in production (3+ years). 
  • Expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript. 
  • Experience integrating APIs into frontend applications and developing APIs (REST or gRPC) on the backend. 
  • Experience with SQL databases. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a security-aware mindset. 
  • Passion for UI/UX best practices, accessibility, and performance. 
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and version control (Git). 
  • Proficiency in English (global team collaboration). 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Understanding of application containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar). 
  • Experience in system architecture design (Clean Architecture or other patterns). 
  • Familiarity with application monitoring (logs, metrics, observability tools). 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. 
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS is a plus).
