About the role

StormGeo is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our ALMAP (Alfa Laval Marine Platform) team. You will contribute to a platform that helps optimize shipping operations by enabling real-time monitoring of onboard systems, analyzing fuel consumption, and supporting compliance with international emissions regulations.

As a Product Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive, user-centered, and visually engaging designs. Your expertise in user experience and interaction design will play an important role in improving the usability, efficiency, and overall user satisfaction of our software products.

📍 This position is based in Vilnius, or Kaunas, Lithuania.

Main Responsibilities

Use Figma as the main design tool to create mockups and visual designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience and align with our brand identity.  
Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process. 
Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and emerging design trends.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in UI/UX design, sharing knowledge and promoting design thinking within the organization.

Core Requirements 

Proven work experience as a Product Designer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of design projects. 
Proficiency in Figma. 
Good understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Strong visual design skills with an eye for aesthetics, typography, and layout. 
Experience in conducting user research, surveys, and usability testing. 
Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. 
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly present design decisions and adapt to feedback.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
