Michael Krch brings over two decades of experience in meteorological operations, specializing in maritime transport risk management and route analysis. He joined StormGeo in 2008 as a Route Analyst Supervisor, where he led a team responsible for providing analytical support to a fleet of more than 5,000 commercial vessels worldwide.
In 2021, Michael was appointed Asia Pacific Operations Manager for StormGeo’s Shipping division. In this role, he oversees regional operational performance, enhances service delivery, and ensures the integration of advanced weather intelligence into maritime decision‑making across APAC.
Before joining StormGeo, Michael served in the United States Air Force for six years as a Captain and Officer in Charge within a Combat Weather Team, where he provided mission‑critical meteorological support to military operations.

Roni Kwan is a Solutions Sales Manager for StormGeo. A digital company that delivers weather intelligence and advanced analytics for safer and sustainable ship operations. He has 15 years of experience providing digital solutions within the shipping industry. Spanning from digital navigation, fleet management, fleet optimization and decarbonization.

Shaukat Kamal Farooq is a Senior Vessel Performance Manager at StormGeo, bringing over 30 years of comprehensive maritime industry experience.
He began his career at sea, sailing for 15 years and ultimately serving as a Marine Chief Engineer across a wide range of vessel types, including container ships, tankers, bulk carriers, and general cargo vessels.
Transitioning ashore, Shaukat spent 11 years with Wartsila’s Engine Division and later 8 years with DNV in Fleet Performance Management. During this time, he specialized in vessel efficiency, performance optimization, and technical advisory services, supporting ship operators in enhancing operational excellence.
Since joining StormGeo in 2019, he has been instrumental in helping shipping companies improve vessel performance, fuel efficiency, and technical decision-making through data-driven insights and advanced performance solutions.
Shaukat is also deeply involved in maritime decarbonization and regulatory compliance. His expertise covers IMO DCS, EU MRV, EU ETS, and FuelEU Maritime, enabling clients to meet evolving environmental requirements and advance their transition toward more sustainable and energy‑efficient operations.

Global Head of Bunker Sales, StormGeo
With over 18 years of maritime industry experience, Julie has excelled in diverse roles, including tanker operator, bunker buyer, oil refinery trader, and now as the Global Head of Bunker Sales at StormGeo. In a previous role, she spearheaded the establishment of an internal bunker desk for a major tanker operator, where she recognized the transformative power of digitalizing bunker management. By overcoming significant challenges, Julie demonstrated how digitalization can break down silos and optimize one of the largest operational expenses.
Julie is deeply familiar with the hurdles commercial operators face in the complex bunker industry, especially in navigating the challenges of digital transparency. At StormGeo Bunker Management, she empowers clients to make strategic changes, streamlining bunker planning and procurement for optimal results.
As the industry evolves with new regulations and increasing complexity, Julie emphasizes the urgency of innovation. She cautions that staying complacent risks falling behind competitors. With her expertise, Julie ensures her clients remain agile and ahead in this dynamic and fast-changing sector.

Jack Oh, Solutions Manager at StormGeo, is a seasoned energy‑sector professional with nearly two decades of international experience spanning offshore engineering, project and asset management, and the global energy transition. His career includes leading complex oil and gas initiatives—such as rig refurbishment programs, energy‑efficiency enhancements, and the adoption of low‑emission technologies—where he has consistently delivered operational value through innovation and performance optimization.
He holds an MSc in Offshore Technology (Subsea) from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering.
In his current role, Jack leads StormGeo’s Energy domain for South Asia and Oceania, driving the development and commercialization of advanced weather intelligence and maritime technology solutions for the energy market. His work increasingly focuses on offshore wind and renewables, supporting the industry’s shift toward safer, smarter, and more sustainable offshore operations.
