10.9 Million Forecasts: StormGeo Reaches Record Growth in Weather Intelligence Services

In the past 12 months, StormGeo has delivered 10.9 million forecasts to clients worldwide – an increase of over 1 million forecasts compared to the previous 12-month period (July 2023 to June 2024). This milestone marks an all-time high for StormGeo and demonstrates the increasing reliance of industries globally on accurate, timely weather intelligence to make smarter and safer decisions.

In July alone, nearly 960,000 forecasts were delivered to a range of industries – from onshore and offshore energy to shipping, retail, healthcare, telecoms, and more – averaging almost 31,000 forecasts per day.

While onshore forecasting continues to account for the largest share, there has been significant growth in offshore wind forecasting, highlighting the industry’s shift toward renewable energy. In total, offshore forecasts are slightly increasing, with demand for renewable-related services continuing to rise.
